Fantasmes

Photography

exhibition

"Fantasmes" is a work created for the purpose of an exhibition. Its main inspiration is Donna Summer's 1989 song "Bad Girls", in which the singer addresses the various stereotypes surrounding sex workers and the judgments often made about them. With this installation, conceived as a group, we wanted to plunge the viewer into the skin of the scene's observer, placing them in the role of voyeurist and thus putting them right in the middle of an uncomfortable scene. The project's main aim is to encourage introspection and question the judgments we ourselves, as viewers, can inflict on others.

work in collaboration with Naima Stark and Thibaut Vlek
